Sandra Lyn „Sandy“ Walker aus Boise, Idaho, unterstützt im Schuljahr 2017/18 als Sprachassistentin den Englischunterricht an HAK, HAS und HLW. Neben der Abwechslung, die der Unterricht mit zwei Lehrpersonen bietet, schätzen die Schüler/innen auch den Unterricht abseits vom Lehrbuch: “We learn about things that are not in the schoolbook, such as Christmas in the US or the pros and cons of Safe Houses. And we can practice our conversational skills with a native speaker,” sagen die Schüler/innen der 2s (im Bild mit Sandy).
